Someone needs to be put in charge of keeping Andra away form scooter, skateboards, longboards or anything foot powered. The Blair campus is not that big and the risk is not worth it. If you need more concincing google Brittney Griner skateboard accident circa 2012

As an eighth-grader, she made 71 3-pointers and averaged 12.4 points, leading Ossining to its first state title in school history.

I think she had some help.

Andra sounds like a terrific kid. From a "talent" standpoint, IIRC early on she was a top 10 kid. But something happened - lackluster performances in AAU games, etc. I think/hope she's a legit top 25 kid or better in her class, but her performance level in these tryouts will tell us more about just how good she really is...

She certainly sounds like UConn material to me. And the way she knocks down the threes, I feel she will become known as "Big Game Hunter."

I read the article and am impressed. Pediatric Surgeon? My, oh my. Dedicated, focused, unafraid of having large dreams.....this is what Nat'l Championships are made of. Truthfully, far beyond any basketball dreams for UConn I might have, I wish all the best to this young woman with so much ahead of her.
