Call it what you want. Too many missed opportunities. Williams was wide open and was over thrown by 5 yards.
 
Whatever you want to call it, the hook needs to come out and it needs to come out now.

This is unwatchable. Put Nebrich in. We're getting blown out by Pitt sans Ray Graham.
 
there has to be something better to do on offense than this. there just has to be.

We've seen some atrocious qb play at uconn since dan o...but that first quarter takes the cake.
 
Guys, he's the best player in practice. That's what really matters.
 
I am not so certain our options are much better at this point. Although I would not mind to see Scotty get a couple consecutive snaps and not this one play and out....

I can't take much more of this.

We get a huge return by Williams and can't do anything. McEntee has the deer in the headlights look.

This is terrible coaching.

he even looks stupid on the sidelines, shaking his head but making the same mistakes over and over

I'm sorry to all the McEntee defenders. He doesn't check off, and he misses wide open guys again and again and again and again

we had two great chances to score, he moves us backwards

there is no defending him

I can't watch his sorry $#%^&*# !@# any more

Mc is 2 for 12. Tough to watch. Somehow Sunseri is over 200 yards in the first half and has run for one TD and thrown for the other.
 
I don't think it will happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing McCummings get the bulk of the PT in the 2nd half. Can things really get any worse?

Please let's see McCummings or Nebrich 2nd half. Give the friggin' team a spark.
 
He is hearing footsteps that aint there. You can't keep this kid out there. If he is not willing to stand in there to try and deliver the ball, he literally gives you nothing else. The sack on third and one, was a bad play call, but Mac's eyes are on the rush first and he is feeling outside pressure before its there.

Additionally, the team looks like it is going through the motions. They need a spark just for morale. Sit Mac.

Starting job is based on production!!! Johnny quick to tuck and run except he can't run.
 
what's even worse is that the receivers start quitting on the play eventually - it's involuntary, you just can't help it. When you have no faith that the QB is going to get you the ball, your chromosomes just don't put forth the same effort. I'm not criticizing the receivers, this is just a normal human reaction. so this is just swirling down the drain.
