... but at the very least, Alex Trebek and Johnny Gilbert. I've been seeing Carlton and Whaley develop a nice 2-man game between each other and they seem like two players who really click on the court. I think they're going to be a good frontcourt tandem for us that will only get better with time.

If we are looking for bright spots, then they are it. Carlton has some skills, but he HAS to work on his strength and athleticism. He's so mechanical and that will make it hard for him to succeed against athleticism. On the other side, Whaley is very athletic but he has to work on the overall skillset. I really felt like Polley was going to surprise some people, but he has really regressed more and more. Still think there is some skill there, but it's taking a lot longer than anticipated to come to fruition.

When the season ends, Carlton, Whaley, and Polley will all still be teenagers.

My wish is that Polley & Wilson are both taking very large numbers of practice shots between now and next November.
