concerning how UConn is ruining the women's game....

there are 349 D-1 WCBB teams:

conservatively, each plays ~25 games (some play a lot shorter schedule, I'm sure, than the majors):
349 X 25 = 8725 games; plus tournament etc. so ~8800 games played

UConn plays ~ 40 games in a year in which they run the table. So, > 8700 games do not include UConn.

Critics of UConn's "invincibility" are saying that these 8700 games are not worth watching because at the end of the season UConn is likely to win the final one.

We should pause over the implications of that....

Unfortunately, our society puts such a premium on winning which translates into if my team can't win, I'm not interested. When Michael Jordan was winning every year, I doubt Celtics fans stopped watching their team. The lack of interest in WBB has nothing to do with UCONN. It has to do with other schools not caring about WBB.
