Maya Moore is one of a few (Moore, Griner, Catchings, Parker, maybe Augustus) who could have gone right from high school into a starting role in the WNBA. I think she benefited much from Geno's coaching (she has said as much herself), but she would be an all-world talent today if she had chosen any other college program. I am just glad that she chose UConn.
