I always liked Kaepernick and I felt that the SF fan base did him an injustice throughout his Niner career. I also felt the kneeling bit was inappropriate for a number of reasons. Yet what Mya Moore is doing certainly beats any kneeling and protesting that any players in football or any other sport have ever done. I don't know if the guy she is trying to get out actually did what he did. What is important is that she believes him to be innocent and is putting it all on the line for him. I don't care that many thought her one of the greatest to come out of Uconn basketball-wise. She is certainly one of the greatest individuals to come out of Uconn. She is actually doing something more than making a temporary gesture. You have to admire her commitment and resolve. She is actually doing something hands-on to promote justice. I am now a Mya Moore fan for life.

Maya is certainly one of the best of all time and even if she never plays another minute of the sport she has an impressive legacy. The part of her game I always liked is she made it look effortless while absolutely dominating all over the floor.
