the quote featured in all of the game articles by GT coach Terri Williams-Flournoy that went, "Last year we played at our place; we played at the Big East and then we played at Temple. So you're on neutral sites every time." She was referencing the difference about getting blown out at Gampel to last year's closer games on the "neutral" sites.
Okay so down in Washington, at Hartford (BET), and then the Philly East regional game, which seems to add up to one neutral site. But there were no comments about the quote, so maybe there was an insider joke here? UConn fan attendance down at GT turned the 1st game into basically a neutral territory situation? CT natives are perhaps bored with the BET at this point and didn't show up at the 2nd game in large enough numbers? Puzzling, especially since there were a lot of discussion about UConn's last home loss, a BET game at the HCC in 2007 that was counted as a home game though it was in the conference tournament.
