The Wife and I are planning on being out in Hawaii for the tournament (11/20-11/28). Does anybody have any info on the best way to secure tickets? I understand that they just went on sale to the public just now but at $676 for three games, the sticker shock set in. Does anyone have knowledge of buying tickets at the ticket window week of? Or just the best way to go about getting tickets in general that wont break the bank?

What you see on the Maui Invitational web site is the best way to guarantee tickets. In years when Chaminade participates, it was always easy to get good seats for their games and you could typically get tickets the same day of the game. However, they are not in the tournament so tickets will be scarce for most games.

Yes they are expensive and it is an expensive trip. There are 3rd party web sites selling tickets to individual games, but aside from the first round, there is no way to know which game UConn will be playing.

No more tickets listed for UConn for Maui Invitational.

I've seen this happen with other schools, but for the first time, UConn 3 game package is apparently sold out in advance of the Maui Invitational.

We had tentative plans to go but given we are coming off back-to-back NC, I thought it better to hold off booking air fare and hotel until I knew I could secure tickets. We've never purchased the travel package as it seemed limited and pricey, but it seems like its the way to go to guarantee tickets in the future. It also seemed like the UConn travel packages were only made available to donors, at least that's how it was whenever I looked into it earlier this year.

I did end up securing two Uconn GA tickets for all three games. I didn't want to be left thinking what could have been or worry about tickets day of. Trip is now finalized. Lets go Huskies!
