I really believe he's a strong outing in the combine from possibly being a top 10 pick overall

I think he’s a second rounder. I would be fine with Giants pulling the trigger on him!!

I saw a mock that has him mid to late 2nd. Would be awesome if he got to the bottom of the first round but he’d need a killer combine.

Peart is the only UConn invitee this year. After a solid Senior Bowl, here's to hoping he improves his draft stock even more! OL report Monday and measurements start Tuesday. On Field is Friday. Hope he shows well. I'm sure Medic will keep us updated with Tweets ;)

Didn't see this original thread. Was surprised it didn't already exist. Apologies for starting a new one. Thanks for merging it Medic

>>Offensive tackle winners

Matt Peart, UConn. I'll start with the non-obvious selection. Peart's film is clean on the right side, and being close to 6-7 with nearly 37-inch arms means he naturally creates an enormous arc around the quarterback, which edge rushers have to navigate. At around 320 pounds, he has a good amount of weight too. Peart is one of the longest offensive tackle prospects measured at the combine that I can remember.<<

Good number given his arm length. Same number of reps as Isaiah Wilson the top OT in the draft from UGA. There will always be some stocky guards who do 40 reps.
The great Larry Brown comes to mind.. Arguably the best OG in the game... (benched 700lbs)....

Still think he is no worse than a round two pick.

He is better than Will Beatty was when he left UConn and has a chance to be a very good player on the next level, especially with that length
