Montero reminds me a lot of Ramon Martinez (Pedros brother) who used to pitch for the Dodgers. The Future is bright in Queens, hopefully this year is 1984 all over again.

Last week there was a scout who compared Snydergaard to Kerry Wood. The Mets fleeced the Bluejays with the Dickey trade.

Bernie Maddoff ended up being a blessing in disguise because is forced the Wilpon's into turning control of the team over to Sandy Alderson who is doing a great job, much like when the Yankees benefited from Steinbrenner being banned from Baseball in the early 90's which allowed Gene Michael to rebuild their farm system.
