Pitched 2 innings in Baltimore last night. I started watching after the first 2 batters had hits. After that he shut them down. Fastball was 94-95 MPH with good movement and he mixed in a decent curve ball. Overall a very good first performance. He definitely looks like he has major league stuff.
Saw him pitch for UConn against Seton Hall and it didn't look like his pitches had a lot of movement so either I caught him on a bad day or someone has worked with him.
Victorino was placed on the 15 day disabled list and they brought up Barnes. If he continues to pitch like he did last night he will stick with the big club.
