Massey Ratings - College Basketball Women's : NCAA D1 Ratings

Stanford, no drop losing to an unranked team.
Three loss Oregon still in top 4??? Yes, I know that computers don't use the eyeball test, but dayum.
No, I don't think SCar merits #2 over NC State at #7. Head-to-head should matter more among two otherwise undefeated teams..

This program really loves them some PAC when ranking and doling out SOS

Stanford did drop. It's just that it's rating was so astronomical last week, even a steep fall doesn't knock it from #1. The Card has wins over #4, #8, #11 -- that's a tough resume to top.

I presume Massey starts out the season with last year's ratings and then phases out their influence over time -- I would hope that would be completed by now, but it could explain why Oregon is still so high.

I believe Massey includes point differential. They have been beating teams by a wide margin. In their case you can not say they are padding stats because they platoon and play everyone.

Interesting point about them beating 4, 8 and 11.

I participate in a relatively high-stakes MBB tourney pool. I love to bet against teams where their value is, in my opinion, artificially inflated by their round-robin schedules against other teams in their conference whose values are also artificially inflated.
