Three of those six losses were to MD and Ohio St, but the other three were to teams they were expected on paper to beat.

Yep - but not definite.

Rutgers has Iowa, Wisconsin and Northwestern to finish the season. Before their slump I would have said they could go 3-0 (and they could) but they have an injured player plus Scaife has hit a physical wall. Making bad decisions and playing poorly. Still, Wisconsin is pretty dreadful. Northwestern likewise, this season, however, on average, Joe McKeon (sp?) has done quite well against Rutgers so could be a toss-up.

If we don't win all 3, it becomes infinitely less likely, because we are unlikely to win more than one in the B1G tourney and one in whatever postseason tourney we are in, assuming we are in one. Still, rooting for it to happen this year.
