Maryland Attendance?

Any guesses what the Maryland attendance figure will be announced as? I think that this game is the second most popular on the 3-game mini plan because of the Edsall factor. I'm hoping that an extra week between the-game-that-shall-not-be-named and Maryland will help fans to forget and re-energize a bit. Also hoping for a nice night to max out attendance.

My guess: 37,500 but obviously hoping for more. Much more.

I imagine there will be a number of people coming off the Jewish holiday that won't decide to make the game and will also not move their tickets so I'm thinking less. But should be a good number. And let's be loud!

If you are talking announced it's probably +- 500 from your number. In the stadium will be about 32-33k

I don't know who ESPN1 @ 2 have on that night but the way everyone likes to eyeball a car wreck you would think that the drama of 2 top ten Hotseat Coach's squaring off would draw an audience. Being a night game we should definitely sell this out despite the Towson loss.

Even UConn would be 2-0 if it had started the season against FIU and ODU. That said, this is a much improved Maryland team.

Ah good to hear from the Pasqualoni family. There is a gap between beating Oregon and getting fired. It's a big enough gap that about 60 coaches reside there.

He may be removing himself from the list, we'll see Saturday night. Win the one's you're supposed to, one of the axioms of coaching stability. We stopped doing that 25 games ago.
