Possibly the prettiest jumper in the women's game. If you haven't gotten to see her play check her our on ESPNU now. What a beautiful shot! Very reminiscent of Mawadi Mabika that played for the Sparks.

GA Tech has become one of my favorite teams to watch, and I agree she has a very pretty jumper. I think she has a bright future for them.

Go Tech! Here I sit in the XL, the only one in the joint with ACC apparel on and it is GaTech. Say hi if you see me.

She has a pretty jumper, and a good all around game. Its an ugly game though, way too much red here in the stands:oops:

I judge pretty by how often it goes in.

If you can go back far enough to remember Dick Barnett's jump shot, your standard would have to be stretched to its absolute limit to bring it within the realm of pretty. That was one ugly jump shot, but, alas, deadly accurate.

Apparently, there is a censor of some kind at work here. Richard Barnett was never referred to as Richard. Can a moderator give me a pass here and allow his more popularly known name to be posted? Thank you.

I don't remember Richard or whatever he was called.

Her form is incredible. Great elevation and a very smooth release. Also reminds me of Marie Ferdinand-Harris from LSU.

Three times, I've tried to write a first name starting with D....as prob others have as well and the software doesn't allow it. Strange.

Or Dave Debusschere whose jumper never seemed to go above the rim yet somehow made it into the net.

As big and tough as Debusshere was, he would be undersized in today's NBA; Could flat out shoot, and had a halfway decent fastball.

Ms Marshall tried very hard to steal Maya's thunder down in Atlanta last season.

Me too! Go TECH!

There were ALOT of Terp fans in the stands.. Tech had some fan support. Its gonna be interesting to see who the other fans will be rooting for tomorrow. Nobody likes Maryland... so hopefully we will bond together against the hated terps. I will say... the MD Pep band played their fight song like every 30 seconds... the tune is ingrained in my head.... not sure how i will get it out

I think Marshall is my second favorite player to watch right now. Williams is right up there, too. I'll tune in to help root GT on to victory but my money is on MD.

Back in the Fall of 1976, my academic advisor caught me reading Bill Bradley's book, Life On The Run, when I was supposed to be studying. It did not sit well with him. Still, it was an enjoyable read.
Despite the fact that Bradley was a Rhodes Scholar, the thought of him going on to eventually become a US Senator had never entered my mind.

You sound like me multitasking. I was always reading a book in class while listening to the. It infuriated one of my seminary profs who early in the semester swore that he would catch me not paying attention and then I would have to put my book away and buy him. Every class he would ask me at least one question. Fortunately. I never had to pay up. At the end of the year he asked if I was actually reading those books. Just one of the quirky things I have always been able to do and to this day I have two or three things going at the same time although I will admit it is getting harder with age. Note left turn on thread.

Me too. The entire Knicks team. They had Dick Barnett for the first title and Earl Monroe, with a toned down game, for the second. I think almost the entire starting unit plus the coach are in the HOF.

Barnett's shot was really unorthodox but effective.

I may have mentioned this a time or three, but my son is named after one of the 1970 Knicks, John Warren, an accountant with whom I have remained in touch.
