Karaban and Johnson Balled out. Diarra gutsy and Stewart playing with great energy and defense. What a win. McNeeley looks slow. Maybe not 100%? He is getting beat on defense easily and can't separate on offense. If he can't shoot I rather Stewart get more of his minutes. Mahaney yikes is not a PG but I guess we have no choice. Ball totally dissapeared in the last 10-15 minutes besides playing good D.

It wasn't just the fact that he hit the shot, he asked for the ball vehemently from Reed knowing Marquette was not going to leave Mitchell on an island with Reed and double him. Alex wanted that shot and Reed obliged perfectly with the pass.

For the all the criticism Alex has taken, this is a great moment for him. He was the Player of the Game.
