The beat #18 Arizona State at home on Saturday, then go on the road and beat #22 Oregon State tonight.

It took the BE a long time to become No.1. Remember Providence was the team to beat. Seton Hall was also tough. I want to see Temple have a great year. I always liked Tonya Cardoza as a player and coach. Except when they beat Uconn in their first FF Tonya and Dawn Staley. Dawn was MOP and they lost to Tenn. She was just that good!

I watched Marquette's win over Oregon State, and Marquette won with great guard play. And even though they were severely undersized in the post, they still managed a fair amount of points in the lane. Oregon State is still figuring out how to replace all that Hamblin and Weisner did for them.

Whatever happened to the old coach that was fired? She used to praise geno all the time and was one of my favorites.
