A short while ago there was mention on the board about Army marketing its football team in Fairfield County along the Amtrak-Metro North lines.
Today, I was travelling westbound on I-84. As I reached the top of the hill at the Cheshire-Waterbury border, I gazed to the left (about a mile before the Scott Road exit). There was a huge billboard with a cadet dressed in the home Black & Gold proclaiming "Only 77 miles to West Point".
As an aside, I was in the local Webster Bank in Southington & there were UConn football posters commemorating 10 years of football at the RENT free for the taking.
