Does anyone know what the deal is with Leigha Brown? I thought I’d heard she was injured, but all I’m finding is an “internal issue.” I have no idea what that means —team, school, guts?

Michigan has fallen apart late in the season.

Fallen apart or regressed to who they actually are? In fairness, losing Phelia for a while and Brown being benched for disciplinary reasons didn't help, but this isn't surprising to me for a few reasons.

They're a team that are prone to turnovers from pressure. Problem has been there for years, even when Hillmon was on the roster. Their lack of a real point guard has been an issue.

Another challenge has been bench points. They don't get much which doesn't help when their starters are struggling.

They were projected to finish fifth in the conference if memory serves correct. They're in range with what was predicted during the pre-season.

Coach Moseley slowly building that Wisconsin program. As for Michigan, it has been an interesting climb this year. I think the problems have been the lack of a legit point guard, poor shot selection, lack of an identity, lack of bench. Just been an interesting season with Michigan.

Sometimes watching Leigha Brown and how she acts toward teammates when they miss a defensive assignment or make a mistake made me wonder what type of teammate she is. I always thought while she was at Nebraska her role on those teams were a little strange despite being the best player on the team. Maybe it's nothing though.

Michigan has plenty of talent, I just don't think KBA utilizes or develops it well.

You're not alone in this. Will be interesting to see how she does at the pro level.

I think Leigha's attitude (or perceived) will change once she arrives to training camp in the WNBA. The league is cutthroat and her teammates or coaches at that level won't put up with it.

Back to Wisconsin, Marisa Moseley did a nice job this year building the program. Serah Williams and Maty Wilke are the cornerstones going forward but Marisa needs to find a way to keep the top local kids at home.
