When Jamelle left, those were big shoes to fill. Nowhere was this more evident than the other night.

Why was Marisa not giving Geno a huge bear hug and lifting him off the ground as the clock wound down? Was that not listed in the job description when she accepted the position?

My worry is recruitment of bigs. I think Jamelle was very good at that, and we're feeling the pain.

She already did that in 2010 when we beat Stanford, but I think Geno is getting a little belly on him these days and she didn't want to take any more chances with her back .... lol

:)

Marisa is doing just fine. Didn't our bigs just win the game for us?
I agree, that Marisa is doing just fine. And, until A'ja announces her college choice, officially, I will believe that the rumors are just that, rumors.

Well ... Geno has put on a bit of weight since J. was on the sidelines!!! Enough blame on both sides on that one!!!
And lets see ...
1. She had Stef for 4 years and nothing good happened with her game.
2. Stokes still doesn't get it after three years.
3. Stewart has been a serious problem since she arrived.
4. Morgan can't get off the bench.
5. KML goes from AA quality to ... I don't know what you would call it. :(

Yup - definitely substandard post coaching!:p:D:rolleyes::)

Is that not what the weight room is for?
MM needs to step up.
Well it is not just muscle but also fashion ... not sure those Jimmy Choos could withstand the combined weight! Can't remember J. being a member of the 'how high can my spike go' shoe wars!

Look, I think she's great too, I just wish we had some post players coming in, this past year and next. It's an obvious problem and I'm NOT trying to start another endless discussion of this. Blech....no more, done unto death...I'm sorry I said a mumblin word.

love the expression "mumblin word"! - reminds of Hoyt Axton's "Della and the Dealer and a dog named Jake and a cat named Kalamazoo".
