Funny. I sat with Sio and Blidi one day. Told them that the day they get drafted they have a new peer group. They have more in common with me than they do with the people they grew up with.

Hope he doesn't blow it. Anyone see the 30 for 30 on pro players going broke? Crazy stories.
No, I am sure another thread will open up that makes this one appear to be just dumb...the other one will be "stupider"This could be the most stupid thread ever
So you have trained your proteges so well that they are now ready to step in when you're busy? Great news for the rest of us. LOL.
Calculate how many years it will take you to earn 2.5mil and then tell me its not "getting paid".2.5 million guaranteed is NOT getting paid as he could be cut in August - or next off season - but congrats on Easley - well deserved.
Suh with 60 million guaranteed is getting paid...
5.7 years...about the same amount of time it will take the overpaid OL coach on staff.Calculate how many years it will take you to earn 2.5mil and then tell me its not "getting paid".

22.3 years at my current salary not including any pay raises or bonuses - you?
To me getting paid is not worrying about $$ again - .
Just a few less than you. However, at my age, if someone handed me $2.5 cash Im never worrying about money again. I guarantee it. I'm low maintenance, I could live one hell of a life just on the interest.

Im 47. Give me 1.7 in the bank and I guarantee you I can find someone to pay me a significant return. 8% yield on 1.7 is plenty to carry on my middle class existence in to eternity. Im a simple man.Good for you making that strong money at your young age - but the part that you have wrong, I believe, is that he wasn't handed 2.5 million - taxes and such and don't know if bonus and/or the guaranteed $ is all up front or paid over time but even if handed the 1.7 mil bonus and he loses roughly 40% off the bat.
I get your point though. at Easley's age, its not really money.
