32 Years ago today I was a Freshman who scratched together $12 for a ticket and a bus trip to the NIT Final.

As I stood on the floor at MSG looking up at these two guys I never imagined what was in our future.

I was there, on crutches, with a cast up to my knee. It was my last semester and I had torn up my ankle playing intramural basketball.

I remember Greg Economou giving me a high five. I had Latin class with him my first semester. That was when he played baseball, prior to joining the basketball team.

I just watched a few minutes from your link and found myself. I remember seeing myself in the crowd on the news the next day. Right after Jeff King's three point play to make it 44-42.
