In the showdown of undefeateds in the SWAC earlier this week, Jackson State beat Texas Southern, 81-79 in overtime.
What made this game especially remarkable was the amount of fouls and the number of misses from the free throw line. From TSU's write-up:
That's right: Jackson State was 22 of 53 (41.5%) from the free throw line. Texas Southern shot "only" 22 free throws and made an even lower percentage (36.4%). Both teams had a higher FG% than FT%.
