I stopped visiting because one of the poster on there who goes by the handle 'WolfPackFan1998' - guy is a total loon and kills brain cells. He refers to the XL Center as Wolf Pack Arena. I would find it funny if he wasn't actually serious and completely deranged.

I've tried Wolfpack games over the years but I find them completely depressing.

Hartford was never great. Not in our lifetimes at least.

It's the arena. Anything they spend on it is a complete waste. Allentown built a 9000ish seat arena for $282 million with only a little bit of graft and in a horrible location to build anything like that. The $250 million in light of that for XL seems like a complete joke.

Hartford is a 9-5 city. Part of the revitalization of the downtown area should focus on that.

Of course an NHL team would help, but there are tons of other things more important than a $250 mil revamp of the XL Center.

That's why pro baseball is coming to Hartford. To help change how the city is perceived locally and help clean up the city. Can easily be done. It's not NYC.

What's funny is the person who posted this photo on Facebook used to be partial Wolf Pack Season ticket holders up until 2015. Now he spends his days stalking Wolf Pack fans online and poking fun at them just so he can feel good about his insecure self.
