End of 3rd quarter...NC State leading 77-33. Maine's offense did come to life late in the quarter. Millan, Maine's top scorer, has just been shut down by NC State and when she has been open, either cannot make the shot or her touch has just been off a tad.

Final: NC State beats Maine, 84-46. After going up by 50 at 75-25, Wes Moore pulled the starters and reserves played all of the 4th quarter. Maine didn't give up down the stretch and did cut the lead to 32 points at one time.

5 Wolfpack Women finished in double figures, including game-leading scorer, freshman Kaila Jones. Another freshman, Elissa Cunane, finished with 11 points. DD Rogers finished with 8.

NC State now 11-0, with a trip to Wes Moore's old stomping grounds, Chattanooga, coming up on December 21st.

Maine falls to 7-3 on the year.

I have no idea... but I do know that I wouldnt want to be around to see it. Actually.. I was watching a show yesterday morning discussing Black Bears and problems in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.. They were saying how the Mama Bear leaves her cubs sometimes up in the trees while she hunts for food. I was thinking...... what happens if one slips and falls down

I think Mama also sends cub up a tree when there is potential danger nearby.


edited--yeah, apparently bears don't land on their feet when they are tranquilized and bounce off a trampoline; that did not look like a good landing

Agreed. I see them occasionally when I'm out hiking, and I think they are magnificent.
