Entertaining fight. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed watching someone lose that much.

Broner was humbled, exposed, and I honestly don't think he should stay at 147, his power is best suited for 140(135 if anything) and he couldn't hang in there with Maidana's power. Maidana/Thurman is an excellent fight for 2014.

Bwahahahahahaha!!!! Great night of fights. So glad to see Broner get embarrassed like that and have to high tail it out of there after the fight. Stay classy clown! Anyone who watches boxing knew broner while talented is not an elite fighter right now. Maidana is a solid fighter but id consider him just below the top tier of fighters in the division.

Broner is in a weight class where there are nothing but killers right now. 140 is no cake walk either. there is no way he goes back to 135 so he`ll have to stay at 147 and/or 140 where there is a ton of talent. he needs to realize hes not as good as he thinks he is. the talent is there but the skills and dedication lag behind.

yea 135 is impossible, just speaking of where his skills and power translate best. Broner needs a serious overhaul of his D, way too flatfooted, head doesn't move, and he was eating a ton of shots off the philly shoulder roll.

Completely agree. He needs to move those feet if he wants to be successful. you can let 135lbs guys pound on you with little effect with his size and strength but that wont work at 147.

Great night of fights but one thing i must mention which dampened the night a bit was the God awful announcers. with the exception brian kenny the showtime announcers are AWFUL!!! They actually had the fight a draw after 6 rounds and there were numerous and i mean numerous times where broner would throw a punch and itd glance or miss completely and theyd say a big shot by broner. wtf? awful awful announcers.
