1st series for the offense, Mayala bounces the ball of his face mask on a sure 1st down and many yards to gain. Redeems himself with a great block to get Thomas a 15-20 yard gain on the WR screen. Later on he takes the big, illegal shot to the head and holds on to the ball. Coaches look for players who can recover after up.
Marriner jumps and causes an illegal procedure on a goal line play that kills a TD and results in a FG. -4 points attributed to his penalty. Later on he's the one on the bottom of the pile recovering Vitale's punt return fumble.
