Great game. Bad last shot (Air ball) by Augustus. Rather have seen Maya take it. Rare for MINN & LA to lose on the same day.

Indiana takes out Minny on a put back off a Maya blocked shot with 8 seconds left. The W is so unpredictable. Love it. Candice Dupree with 31. She is so dependable. Cool customer.

Yup. Fowles got 4 fouls in the first half, and the Lynx played lazy, sloppy basketball most of the game, getting inbounds passes stolen, etc. Plus Candice Dupree was lights out.

Even with Lindsay Whalen out MN would be a big favorite going in. But they don't play the games on paper or through the media they play a full 40 minutes! You have to give huge props to IN for playing like it had nothing to lose and hustled for the whole game!
How is Larkins NOT starting and only playing approximately 8 or 9 minutes? IMHO she is way more efficient than Achonwa (sp) ! Larkin has been a main cog in the IN success in previous seasons! While she was in she dished out her usual hustle, determination, and skill set!
We've already seen how close teams are to each other, and nobody should take anyone for granted in the playoffs!

Another exciting game. There have been so many great ones this year. Three teams have now beat Minnesota this year. Chicago, Indiana, and CT.

From the box score, it appears that fouls limited Syl's minutes (20) and points (8). Fortunately, Seimone was back, and Maya was on. But they couldn't stop Dupree. If the game had been at home, Minny likely would have pulled it out late. Gotta play every game hard. As noted, it's rare when L.A. and Minny lose on the same day. The Lynx still have 4 fewer losses than the Sparks.

I haven't kept up with the WNBA all month because I've been busy with other summer things (Mets BB and Powwows etc.). I just watched this game to see how Jen Hamson was doing and couldn't stop watching.
