I just hope we don't have to play Kentucky, UNC, or Duke in the 2nd round. Anyone else is fine. Playing those 3 is tough enough as is. Playing them and the refs at their home places would be impossible.
This. It's absolute BS that the NCAA allows teams to have games in their own state on what is supposed to be a neutral site.
I understand the need to sell tickets, but Kentucky in Kentucky and UNC/Duke in North Carolina is just a joke.
They're reward is a better draw. They shouldn't also need de facto home games.Give me a break. That's the reward to the top 4 seeds in each bracket. I have no issue with it, just would rathe be one of them.

Well.... technically 20 years ago (1992) UConn was a 9 seed. That's still a long time ago though. That's what will make this tournament's path much different than what us UConn fans are used to. Significant, toss-up games starting in the very first round.Just saw an amazing stat from Eaton-Robb on twitter. UConn hasn't been worse than a 5 seed in 20 years.
