As sweet as it'd be to play and beat uk in ky, I wouldn't like our chances. I'd rather be a 7 or 10 seed and play duke, Kansas, or osu.

You know what.... the whole year I kept saying that Kentucky is the only team I wouldn't want to play. duck that! Bring on Kentucky! We ended their season last year and let's do it again this year..... I want to see Drummond dominate Davis and show them who the best Lamb in the country is!

Every team is beatable this year and we have the talent to take on anyone. And when it comes down to it, Kentucky (along with Syracuse) is the team that I want to take out the most.

I just hope we don't have to play Kentucky, UNC, or Duke in the 2nd round. Anyone else is fine. Playing those 3 is tough enough as is. Playing them and the refs at their home places would be impossible.

This. It's absolute BS that the NCAA allows teams to have games in their own state on what is supposed to be a neutral site.

I understand the need to sell tickets, but Kentucky in Kentucky and UNC/Duke in North Carolina is just a joke.

The joke is that there's either a pod or a regional in North Carolina every single year. It's not like Greensboro is this bustling metropolis; it's done exclusively for the benefit of Duke and UNC.

While I agree with your commentary about games in your own state, that's the reward for having an outstanding season. If our guys put forth a much bettter effort this season (see the Cuse game), they could have won maybe 6-8 more games and wound up with a better seed.

Give me a break. That's the reward to the top 4 seeds in each bracket. I have no issue with it, just would rathe be one of them.

They're reward is a better draw. They shouldn't also need de facto home games.

And to be honest, I would have less of a problem with this if all the top seeds got de facto home games rather than just UNC and Duke. UK has a couple this year, but it's not as common. It's absurd that two teams, in particular, get preferential treatment over all the other teams.

Really? The reward is playing the low seeds.

UConn has been a 1 seed a lot in the past. Where has our 1st round game in Harbor Yards in Bridgeport? What about Providence or even Newark?

Just saw an amazing stat from Eaton-Robb on twitter. UConn hasn't been worse than a 5 seed in 20 years.

Well.... technically 20 years ago (1992) UConn was a 9 seed. That's still a long time ago though. That's what will make this tournament's path much different than what us UConn fans are used to. Significant, toss-up games starting in the very first round.

Still hoping for a ten seed out west. I don;'t care who the number one is if Uconn is out there.

The BE is getting beat up on these bracketology shows and the word UCONN has not come up. It would be fun to make these experts eat some sh#t. Calhoun going into sorceror mode.

Sure, but how about the years without an appearance. I think that qualifies as "worse than a 5 seed".
