He looks really tough and strong....but a tad out of shape. Whenever he wants the rebound he gets it, but he takes a few plays off. If he gets a tad leaner he will be imposing on the glass with his size

I've watched a couple of his games and he is really really raw offensively. And he usually never boxes out and just out-muscles people for rebounds.

His body is so much bigger than his competition but needs lots of works on both sides of the ball

It hasn't done wonders for our rebounding.
That's because our post players are string beans, Lubin will be the first legitimately big strong kid we've had since Adrien.

Regarding UConn's rebounding, through 18 games this season, UConn has outrebounded 8 of their opponents. UConn only outrebounded 7 opponents total last season. Our rebounding has improved, and players the size of Lubin will help even more.

cant seem to get it loaded
Game is over. Lubin finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds. He kind of looked like he was going through the motions during the first half, but a light bulb went off in the second half and he realized that he was the biggest guy on the court and started having his way.

EDIT: Final stat line was 18 points and 15 rebounds.

Thanks

for those that watched, and I know it's a small sample size, but could he contribute right away simply due to size or he is just too raw? and by contribute I mean give us 5-10 minutes a game at the 4/5. I'm not expecting a starter or anything like that.

didnt watch but if he can just rebound and protect the rim thats more than enough, points will come

From what I have seen before, he is not much of a shot blocker and I agree that he needs to become more fit, in order to keep up with a fast pace of action, but sure I could see 5-10 minutes per game to bolster our interior play.
