As a response to Nan's rapture over ten point hard fought OOC games ...
I am so looking forward to the conference schedule this year as a respite from tense times and occasionally un-aesthetic Uconn play.
A game like tonight where I can glory in eight players in double figures, the debut of Natalie with a lovely 5-7, eight rebound, 2 block stat line, the confirmation that Chong is playing well, and the correction of course for Moriah's A/TO ratio (8/1) is just what the doctor ordered!
To be able to look at the final stats and see the opponent shooting 26% and 22% from three to silence the 'we are doomed because we can't guard ANYONE' crowd of mopers!
Only 7 TOs and A/TO of 3.6 for the team - pure bliss!
Rebounds - 20 offensive and out-rebounding by 25 - ecstasy!
Shooting .547/.440/.818 and scoring 107 - oh, frabjous day!
The New Year is upon us and all is right with the Huskies!
