I watched that game. FSU was dominated from the start. Louisville came out firing.. I believe they were up 19-2 (or something similar) at one point in the first. FSU found rhythm in spurts and had their runs but never got too close because Louisville matched with runs of their own.. Great game for the young cards.
Jeff Walz is a very good coach. Looking at the teams on the court, FSU had the advantage with the bodies, Louisville with the discipline, determination, and hustle.
Spoiled UCONN fan here so I apologize in advance. The first quarter of that basketball game was brutally bad. 1st quarter featured more turnovers than made baskets & more missed layups than made jumpers. I had to turn it off so hopefully the level of play picked up after than.
