Loudest MOMENT Ever

as already nominated, the free throws at the end of the BET Championship game in MSG 2011

we rocked the garden that night like I've never seen before

Syracuse game during the Dream Season was extremely loud at the HCC.

I nominate two I saw in person. Ray Allen's shot to beat Iverson and Georgetown at MSG in the 1996 Championship, and Tony Robertson's sick dunk. I forget who they were playing but I remember that dunk. It was my favorite dunk by a Husky, although some would say that one by Stanley Robinson or Donyell Marshall were as good or better, to me when a smaller player dunks he has to get an edge over a tall player.

The Garden. Will never forget that night.

Beverly's slam dunk vs. Texas may be the single loudest roar.

Bonus point because I could see myself in the back corner of the shot when I saw the highlights that night when I got home!

Being at the Garden for Louisville too was insanely loud when Mara went to the line.

The goaltending call at the end of the Arizona game when they were ranked #1 was really loud. Also the civic cener was rocking when we came back from 30 down to take the lead against UMESS a couple years ago

In my memory, when Bev dunked that ball, I was jumping 5 feet off of the ground. I can remember screaming at the top of my lungs and I couldn't even hear myself. It was almost disorienting how loud that arena was that day.

I was also at this game but I think that the moment that was louder was when Albert Mouring hit the game tying 3 that capped the 10-2 run to tie the game. The goaltending from what I recall was it took the crowd a second to figure it out because nobody really knew it was a goaltend.

The other really loud moment from the texas game besides what has been mentioned so far was kemba's 3 from way out late in the 2nd half. Crowd was ridiculous that day im pretty comfortable saying i'll never be at a better atmosphere than that.

I have a suspicion the Syracuse game on ESPN Gameday this year is going to give most of these crowds a run for their money.

Snow game vs krauser/troutman Pitt squad at gampel. 75% of the house was students on a Sat night. Troutman's 2nd half unfortunately was louder.

Using the Way Back machine there was a game in the Fieldhouse against VCU that was to go to the NIT Final Four early in JC's tenure that was the loudest I heard that venue get. That hesitation of the crowd in the Zona game, good recall. For me at the Civic Center it was the Georgetown game in the dream season with the California game in the NCAA's being memorable as well.

I have said this before. I attended all of the games mentioned and the VCU game was hands down the loudest crowd of any sporting event I have ever attended.

I agree without a doubt the VCU field house game. The fans were so loud the temperature in the building was rising and the noise was so intense that dust was actually falling down from the rafters! Anyone who was there will verify. Last years MSG championship ending is probably a distant second.

Donyell's 360 dunk, against Seton Hall I think.
I was in the student section (overflow side) with Donyell coming at us for that play. People were going bonkers.
