Washington is in a world of hurt. Now missing Powers and Leslie. Were able to get an exemption to sign another player, picked up Stella Johnson right after she got cut by Chicago.

LA started 1-8 from the floor, but Mystics hardly took advantage of it. Then the Sparks went 9-10 from the floor to take control. Up 43-27 approaching halftime. Atkins having a good game, getting no help. It appears Meesseman is a great complimentary player, but not ready to be a star yet.

47-34 at the half. Atkins has 16 on 7-8 shooting.

Balanced scoring for LA. Bench really contributing again. R. Williams continuing her hot shooting of late.

LA wins 81-64. Just not enough players for Washington, no bench. Sparks really made things difficult in the paint on D and Mystics weren't hitting from outside.
