Liberty had a chance to tie in the last seconds and AZB through it away after having a good game in general. If Katie Smith had a weapon at that moment, she would have used it. She was furious.:mad::mad:

Still, it would not have been close if LA made a few shots. LA tried to give the game away but the Liberty would not accept.

She needs to look in the mirror and yell at herself...

I only caught part of the 2nd half but some of the Sparks looked disinterested while barely beating a team isn't very good. I guess they can turn it on when they need to but that's a dangerous way to play down the stretch.

Sparks didn't want to play too hard since they play the Dream tomorrow night.

Yes the Dream game is the most important one remaining on their schedule. The Dream are currently a game ahead of them in the all important second playoff position. For the Sparks have any realistic hope of getting the second position they have to win tomorrow.

They win tomorrow and they’ll be in line to get the #2 seed as they’ll win the tie breaker if it comes to that. I commented a week or two ago that the lazy loss at home to Indiana could prove to be quite costly...they’d be sitting a lot more comfortable right now if they pulled it out. The idea of facing Taurasi/Griner, Moore/Fowles or Cambage/Diggins in a single elimination game is quite the scary thought.
