Connecticut got the lead to 18, but it's 11 at the half. Tuck hit consecutive threes.

Sun are on fire from the arc: 10-13. They lead by 19 in the middle of the 3rd Q.

Jasmine Thomas with a big game so far.. Chelsea Gray not doing much at all. Looks like some Duke on Duke violence to me

The Sun are up 15 at the 3:18 mark in the 3rd qtr. The Sun are making it look easy against LA. The Sun are going to be a tough out in post season play.

Sims and Carson got hot. The lead is down to 6 after 30 minutes.

Tuck scores 2 hoops inside, plays defense, and rebounds. Solid! The lead is back to 10.

Morgan has 10 points in 12 minutes on 4-5 shooting. Always calm.

L.A.'s pressure defense has caused the Sun to gag up 7 points of a 10-point lead in the last minute.

Laney made 2 FTs to get the lead to 5. Then Parker cut it to 2.

Jasmine just made 2 FTs. Conn up with 4 secs to go. Nail-biter!

Riquana fouled on a 3-point shot. L.A. down 2 with 1.2 to go.

Technical foul on Parker on guarding the inbound pass. Strange. Conn makes the FT to seal it, 89-86.

Looking at the scoreboard, I hope Connecticut pull it out. According to the scoreboard, Jasmine Thomas is having a good game, and is leading the way for Connecticut with 27 points. The score at the time was 89-86. I just have one question, is Chiney hurt?

Sitting in SolToro sipping on a celebratory sangria. Wow, what game. Great heart by our captain, Jas. They got away with resting Chiney's knee for another game. I expect she'll be good to go on Thursday. Again, wow.

If Phoenix wins their Game against the Liberty tonight, then the Lynx and Sparks will meet in the one game playoff to determine who advances. Hard to believe that both teams are in this position with the talent on each team.

Home now and feel like I just played in the game. Such an emotional roller coaster ride. The Sparks really know how to put the pressure on late in games, and never give up. This was definitely a playoff intensity game. The Sun hung and and took care of business.

Did the Sun really sweep season series' from BOTH Minny and LA?

IF the Sun make it to the Semifinals, they will have to play one "home" game at the "Dunk" in Providence due to an arena conflict... that truly sucks. It'll probably look like a Liberty home game. :(

The Sun beat L.A. 102-94 at home in May, 73-72 on the road in July, and 89-86 at home today. They beat Minnesota 89-75 at home in June, 83-64 on the road in July, and 96-79 at home last week. They should get a prize for going 6-0 against the heavy pre-season favorites. I think that neither Minny nor L.A. matches up well with the young, fast, sharp-shooting Sun.

In May, Candace didn't play. In this last game, Nneka didn't play. LA goes as those 2 players go. Injuries have not been kind and a compressed season has not helped.

In the interest of fair and balanced reporting, the Sun beat LA on their home court without Courtney Williams AND Alyssa Thomas in the July game in the midst of a brutal road trip. The Sun's leading scorer and offensive rebounder, Chiney, did not play for the Sun last night.
