They are missing the glue and leadership of Kemba.

Calhoun needs to ask Geno for advice on offense. Not that all the guys will execute it. But it's a terrible offense right now.

On paper, this UConn team should be really, really good. Kemba was obviously the straw that stirred the drink last season, but all of the other guys (AO, Bazz, Lamb, Roscoe, etc.) made big-time contributions. Then you add Drummond, Daniels, and Boatright, and you figure UConn could be in the mix again this season. Just hasn't happened. The pieces are there, but it hasn't come together, and in the men's game, there's enough parity that you're going to pay dearly for a lack of chemistry.

Just not a good vibe right now between Boatright being in and out, AO regressing from his stellar play at the end of last year, the JC/DD incident, etc. I hope they can get it together in time to make the tourney and make a run. CT is always a better place to be when the men are playing well.

totally agree. Alex and Roscoe are a shadow of what they were last year, especially Alex. a host of bad losses for the men's team. still lots of hoops to be played, but it's not looking good for them, at least not right now.

Drummond makes it difficult for AlexO, even Olander cuts into his time... which effects Roscoe's and add that Giffey is making a lil noise lately

oh I know he's not. But it's stupid that he isn't. They're both fantastic coaches, and it's too bad their pride gets in the way of helping each other out.
