First words of her diary: “Excuses are the tools of the incompetent”. That's just so Kia.
Another: I guess they were right, because I wake every morning living out a real-life dream. I'm sure a lot of WNBA rookies feel the same way, but it's so nice to see someone actually express it. I know I felt that way for some time after I eventually earned my degree and got a real paying job that I loved.
