Doesn't look like UConn will be bowling anytime soon. I'll go out on a limb and say not in 2019. Earliest 2020. All these true freshmen starters will be the age of red shirt freshmen next year. Not big enough, strong enough, or fast enough.

I think the real question this year is whether or not UConn can win its Yankee Conference games. UConn should be the underdog in both.

I still think UConn has a chance to get six wins this year. UConn was in no shape to play strong teams like UCF and Boise for the first two games. Hopefully, the team is not demoralized. Edsall may be able to give them some confidence when they meet URI.

URI, UMass, Tulsa, SMU, Temple and maybe one other game are winnable.

I still think Marvin Washington may need to play QB for part of the game. He may surprise us. Nothing against Pindell but you can't put all you eggs in one basket.

Agree on Washington. If Edsall is playing the long game he will find a way to get him PT. Pindell won't be here next year. Gotta do something.
