[QUOTE="Tonyc, post: 4489030, member: 73"] Well this in again, out again, of the lineup with players is becoming to common. It must stop. Maybe the players need more time to heal or maybe they just need to back off when the game gets physical. This is reason enough to hope Azzi and Caroline are brought back slowly and with caution because we need them against some big games that are coming up. As far as what we can do about it, I dont think anyone has an answer. Geno is doing all he can do. So we are expecting to see Azzi and Caroline maybe tonite,or Sunday or within the next week if I had to guess. That will cure what many have posted about making more treys and having more shooters. When that day comes for Azzi and Caroline to play we will be headed back to the team we originally started the year with. I expect alot of excitement when they do come back. The key will be to keep them healthy and give them time to get up to speed both physically and mentally. When they do its gonna be alot of fun to watch UConn with 3 deadly shooters and some bigs down low who should have plenty of room to operate because our ariel attack which will open things up. Im dreamin of watching Lou Caroline and Azzi competing while taking their outside shots. Bombs away. We are gonna be very tuff to stop and we will have depth and an experienced bench. When they come back we will have a full healthy roster with so many go to players who can create their own shot and how many of them will be/should be AAs? We dont have Paige who was a great clutch shooter. Paige could take games over and play the point and was a great facilitator. We do have Nika who is a good facilitator and Lou who is a terrific shooter who is not afraid to create and take a shot. So kinda in a way they both can help take some of what UConn has lost with Paige out. Aaliyah has blossomed into a superstar and AA and Dorka has become a great post player who can play inside and out. Now with our outside shooters back defenses wont be able to, as easily collapse down low on us, because they cant afford to leave our shooters open. This will also give Nika chances to dribble drive and she will find herself open for more shots. When watching other games you can see teams that are suffering at the point. Some of those teams are ranked in the top 10. Playing against top teams without a point guard will expose that weakness jmo there. It is very difficult to win big games without a good point guard who can make good decisions. So with excitement we sit an wait for the day we are healthy again. The good news is it isnt far away.
