Looking for Ms. Fudd This Evening

Having had a daughter who played in college and sustained an ACL, I have to agree with Kara Wolters that Azzi has been tentative thus far because I saw it. Who can blame her? Having said that, one thing will get rid of that natural residual from a very serious injury and that is a great game, ala Ole Miss, where she takes the game over. It may be tonight or against Georgetown or even St. John's but it is definitely coming. She is a great all-around player and it is going to be crystal clear to everyone again, just how good she is. Watch her on defense especially, it's textbook.

I agree, plus to watch her lateral movement is heartwarming. The best for Azzi, her buddies, which appears to be the entire rest of the team.

Either yesterday morning or this morning, local CT radio said Paige and Azzi would both be out for the Xavier game. Guess they had old info on Azzi!

Without Paige it was like this team saw Azzi in 4K. Chen fed her the ball all night and Azzi had 20 before Xavier. I think they need to feed her just as often when Paige is on the court. I think sometimes she just bails them out when they need a bucket but Azzi can bail them out too. So can Sarah/ Paige, Azzi, and Sarah having the ball in their hands is the recipe for a good pot roast in March.

I also like Azzi bringing the ball up. Chen sometimes picks up her dribble with nowhere to go, Azzi kept the ball moving. I think Azzi, Paige and Sarah should take turns bringing up the ball it totally throws the defenses off and me too

Yes to Sarah, Azzi, and Paige, but what about the rest of the team? The box score is usually stuffed by those three or two of the three. So good to see Ziebell ring Z-bell testifying to her talent coming in.
Geno says she'll play more as she scores more, so bring her on. I'd like to see Shade's numbers move up with regular production, say 15/game?
The potential for high scoring games is there with Azzi finding her stroke (prettiest in bb). Let's use these BE games to set a consistent style of play. Then hope it carries over.

Interesting to hear her comments. I feel I better understand her mindset and the difficulties she is dealing with in her return. We need to temper our expectations for her with some patience and empathy.
