There was lots to love, but 8:22 in the 2nd - Evina to Paige off a steal... Paige's finish on that one showed special coordination, handle and court awareness that set her apart. And she a FRESHMAN!! Most players mishandle the low pass and it goes out-of-bounds, or the player has to pull out and reset, or they try what Paige tried and miss the hoop by a foot. Future... bright... shades .

FYSA the number is 7. That is how many more assist Paige should have on the season. Her teammates were not expecting quality pass that should have ended in easy layups. They'll learn!

If it's the shot where she turns her back to the basket and flips the ball up then she's done it before, in HS. In one of the youtube videos the person reviewing her game highlights showed an NBA star who invented the move do it in a game. I forget his name.
Bueckers has a lot of flash in her game from modelling herself on NBA players. Lots of women players show flash but it ends when the ball leaves their hands and misses, usually by a wide margin. Bueckers makes the shot.

Kyrie Irving is probably best know for that reverse spin layup.

And, not surprisingly, Kyrie is Paige's favorite NBA player.
