Nothing but time on my hands until the fall so why not think about where Geno and Co. will be searching for new recruits. I took the 2017 Hoopgurlz Top 60 and 2018 Top 25 and noted exactly where these recruits were geographically located. Since we know that many recruits would prefer to stay near home, what schools do you think will take advantage of the treasure trove of recruits in their own backyard?

Here's the recruit breakdown by state:

AL - 1
Ark - 1
AZ - 2
CA - 6
CO - 1
DC - 1
FL - 5
GA - 8

Thanks. Texas and Georgia are always loaded. Did you miss Connecticut? Even RI has one.

It is interesting to see where the majority of the rated top recruits will be coming from.

I would have guessed Texas and California and Georgia would have a stockpile of potentially good players.I am surprised that some states like Illinois does not.

We know what kind of WBB players Illinois puts out---and we are sad to lose her.
