Central Florida's new helmet looks like it's based on the same Nike template as our new one, in the shape of the stripe and the mix of matte and gloss finish. As much as I don't like ours, theirs is truly hideous IMHO.

At least they don't have the hideous eyeballs...Nike picked them both from "pattern 5J863" or something similar. Changed the colors, changed the logo and there you have it. I hate Nike.

Holy are those jerseys drab. I am really thankful for our jerseys, symbol, helmets because I am bored to tears just looking at that crap.

Those jerseys are beige. The color on the helmets is gold. It's not just UCF, lots of other schools have had beige creep into their unis over the years. Doesn't make sense to me, I can't believe recruits are jazzed up about beige, but whaddo I know...

I guess we can be thankful UConn never had gold/yellow as a school color so that we can avoid the beige trend.
