Not that we need another thread to pull their trash back over here but I will use it as an opportunity to say this: the thing that really makes me scratch my head is that it appears the prevailing belief is that the gap between cuse and uconn This year is still as wide as the Atlantic Ocean. We just beat them heads up and we have 1 more conference loss and 2 more overall. Our rpi is going to jump to the low 20s and I wouldn't be surprised if we are flirting with the top 25 again with a win against nova on Saturday. I guess if you acknowledge that we have a good team this year it doesn't fit the mould of our imminent death spiral.

Kevin Oliie knew exactly how to take it to Boeheim's defense.Boeheim was very content on allowing u-con control the temple and flow of the whole game.

Don't watch much UConn, I'm guessing. Calhoun can hit them. Daniels throws a lot up but he should play closer to the basket where he doesn't miss (midrange).

LMMFAO!!! Calhoun is an awful long range shooter!! Daniels is hot garbage! Don't know how this guy was so highly rated coming out of hs. UConn has 3 viable option. Napier (really good) Boatwright (good) and putbacks. That's it. That's why they struggle against zones, and they will today. Big time.

If those quotes came in the hours after UConn's win, then I would say you're wrong. We do have a few idiots on this board that are so over the top they may rival the jerks that were responsible for those quotes but they are relatively few and far between while it seems by the amount of those responses, they've got them by the bushel. Outside of a couple of years in the 80's, the Huskies were at least somewhat decent but from the onset of the 90's and onward, there was no program that dominated the Big East as we did. Syracuse hasn't really had any teams that I can recall that were bad and they were seemingly always in the upper tier but they NEVER had the long term domination that we had in the Big East. Our regular season and tournament titles bear that up! The fact that they've never attained the sustained level of excellence that we did speaks volumes considering the fact that they seemingly always had the better recruiting base and the better facilities. It must really gnaw at them knowing how the one time regional program has surpassed them in the eyes of the national media. Suck it up, Orange!!!!!!!!

I lurked over there. My favorite comment was the guy who said he wouldn't trade their two Helms Titles for our 3 titles. (Because ours are "watered down" -- you know, because black people are allowed to play these days and players "cheat" by "dunking" and taking those crazy "jump shots".) Talk about letting anger cloud your judgment. Wow. I mean, wow. (Some other guy responded by saying he'd trade those two "titles" for a Final 4 this season.)
