Sloppy game. Bad offense, bad defense... Jimmy B tossed.... Couldn't have been a better ending?

Ultimate meltdown... This game I think hurts both teams... But they both may move up! ;)

Painful offensive game. Dook couldn't even make free throws. No real bigs on either team.

I was not impressed with either team. There were times when Duke played great defense and that's about it. Are they normally much better?

So glad that sucker got tossed. Trash talking the Old Big East prior to a crappy game vs Duke. I hope he doesn't win another game this season

But, but, but...there's a this from Facebook, so it must have been a great game. Can a new banner for Cameron be far behind?

Syrexcuse decided that the BE was an inferior place for them. UConn, Nova, Georgetown, were not worthy of associating with. They wanted to belong to a culture of like minded schools so they bailed on the greatest basketball conference of all time and a decent football conference to get their dream. I'm hoping last evening was the beginning of their journey to a cultural failure. I hope their dream becomes a nightmare for them.

We would have gone if asked, don't kid yourself. But I hope we wouldn't have pissed all over the BE after leaving.

Is that Cameron to the right, or another building? Holy crap it's tiny.

No bigs? Uconn goes undefeated with Parker
Isn't he more of a 3 though? I'm looking at Plumlee, who can't even turn and face the basket from the foul line, and Jefferson, who was getting pushed around all over the place.

When I turned on the game the announcers were raving about Plumlee. Right after that I saw him look pitiful as Cuse got 3-4 offensive rebounds in a row and he never got in position. Then he disappeared. Don't get his hype.

Maybe, maybe not. Certainly after Cuse, Pitt, and WV left and the BE was a shell of itself. Maryland tossed the ACC aside, but it appears Virginia and North Carolina chose to remain. Not every university choses to follow the dollars at the expense of history and ties.

Excuse my ignorance... are you suggesting Virginia and North Carolina were ever offered an invitation to another league? is that so? I wasn't aware of that. That's crazy

There were rumors flying on the CR forum that the B!G had discussions with other ACC teams besides Maryland and most people suspect Virginia was approached and maybe North Carolina. Nothing concrete but the rumors appeared strong enough to not discount.

And well before Cuse and Pitt jumped ship their were discussions of a BE split with the football schools and the BB only teams creating two leagues. ND was the deciding vote against that split. But UConn has reportedly been involved in trying to keep the conference together. Hence my response to TRest.

I'd take a guy like Jefferson on this team in a heartbeat. He's a four who has been playing out of position at Duke this year.

I found it a little hard to believe that Duke hasn't beaten a #1 ranked team since '97. I'm sure Dickie V would be quick to tell us that's because they've been the top ranked team so often .

I took a quick look at UConn's results over the last 10-12 years and the only win I saw vs the #1 team was in 2010 vs Texas. There were only 2 or 3 other meetings besides that one, so maybe it's just that there's no way to predict a team will be facing the #1 team on a regular basis.
