Great read. I don't know which is the best conference in the nation, but I do know the Big East has been disrespected and the Big10 continues to be an imposter.

Yeah but they have Rutgers, so they’ve got that going for them. Which is nice.
Usually you can say that (and it is pretty funny). But this year's Rutgers team with incoming freshman Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey may not be the pushover everyone thinks of them. I'm actually excited to watch them this year.

Rutgers has that great apparel deal with Adidas...

An open records request of Rutgers' contract with Adidas revealed that Rutgers received $12,944,666.20 in value from Adidas and paid the company $16,257,918.46 over the six-year deal; the net result was that the university paid Adidas $3,313,252 over the duration of the agreement

So, Rutgers is such a valuable property that they have to pay a premium to an apparel company to get uniforms.

Weird that the article clowning the Big Ten mentions beating Purdue in the championship, throttling Illinois in the Elite 8, but forgets that we also handled Northwestern in the 2nd round!
Yep - it was like blowing thu the Big10 tourney. No problem.

UConn has won 6 National Championships in the past 25 years. The entire Big 10 has won 1.

Checkmate.
And the B10 continues to get a ton of bids each year. When will the committee wake up?

Answer: Well it's all about who's on the committee and their continued bias that will only continue to grow due to the power of the P4s. They continue to take care of their own and crossing them could result in them pulling out of the NCAA and forming their own association. The rest will likely have to walk a fine line and look the other way. I doubt much will change.

And early in the season, UConn beat Maryland. Weren't they claimed by a notable sports reporter to have had a better roster of players than UConn?

And that 1 championship was one of the ugliest we've seen. Granted 2011 was too (2006 was high on the ugly scale too), but 2000 rivals it. Msu wasn't that impressive for a champion in 2000. And before that it was 1989, 2 chips in 35 years...."best" lol, no but they are great to have so many final four squads for what it's worth.

Even with that 1 championship, Michigan State was fortunate Kenyon Martin went down prior to the tournament. That UC team felt like they were about to run over everyone.

Are we sure he wasn’t talking about the big 12? The conference that has 3 titles over the past 35 years but is always claiming it’s the best - especially recently .

We trashed them in March, 3 double digit blowouts, including double digit wins against their regular season and tournament champions

The Big East teams are much more competitive for us

Northwestern was over at halftime

Illinois 30-0 run

Purdue, only one guy looked like he belonged on the same court with us. And we still cruised

All I know is I got torched on this board when I said the ncaa committee had a bias when choosing big 10 teams and disregarding big east teams and then said the ncaa committee should cease to exist in its current format because of that bias. Then I called McClennon? The guy who explained how the committee a corporate puppet.

Good too see great minds think alike and Hurley also feels something is amiss.

The Big 10 has been getting the benefit of the doubt as long as I can remember.
