Figured to make a thread to compile and chronicle local CT and former UConn players who play elsewhere. Add whoever I missed.
Mike McGurl - Kansas State: The lone senior on a rebuilding Kansas State team, McGurl should start and will provide much needed shooting for Bruce Weber.
Jaiden Delaire - Stanford: Projected to be one of the better teams in the Pac-12, Delaire likely won't start but will be one of the first bigs off the bench.
Walter Whyte - BU: Entering his senior season, Whyte is now hands-down BU's best player.
Ty Flowers - LIU: The best player on one of the best teams in the NEC and listed in Three Man Weave's first team NEC.
Tahj Eaddy - USC: One of the five transfers incoming for USC, Eaddy is projected to be the top backup at both guard spots.
Rich Kelly - Boston College: The prolific Quinnipiac scorer will be a major shooter off the bench.
Jaylin Hunter - Old Dominion: Entering his sophomore season at Old Dominion, Hunter might be pressed into a greater role this year after starting wing Jason Wade was announced earlier this year that he's out for the year. His PT might depends if Hunter or starting PG Malik Curry will play off-ball, something neither did last season.
GRAD TRANSFERS FROM CT SCHOOLS:
EJ Anosike - Sacred Heart to Tennessee: Finishing his career where his sister played, the all-time Pioneers great looks to carve out a major role on the Volunteers as a high-motor, tough rebounder with stretch ability. Arguably one of my favorite players I've watched live.
Kevin Marfo - Quinnipiac to Texas A&M: Look for rebounding magnet Marfo to start right away for Buzz Williams.
Cam Parker - Sacred Heart to Montana: Broke the record for most assists in a game with 24, Parker will move closer to home and after getting a waiver, he is the likely starter at PG.
