The day has finally arrived, that I will meet the Woman who's responsible for my " "Husky Luv." The Dream Season ticket holders have the opportunity to choose a game in which they can sit on the Dream's bench during pregame. I chose the Minny game 2 Months ago, not knowing Rebecca would be there, because of Maya. When I got to the game, we were escorted by our Acct Rep down to the bench. Lo and behold, Lobo was sitting on the bench talking to other Media Personnel. As soon as she gave us the que to sit down, I rapidly went and sat next to Lobo. Peep this, Lobo was facing in the other direction, and I "accidentally" brush up against her. She looked over at me and my palms were wet, my hands and legs were shaking, and I couldn't get a single word out.

Finally I asked her how she, the kids, and Steve were doing. I also asked for her Autograph, and she politely gave it to me without hesitation. She made me feel comfortaale, but I did stumble over my words from nervousness. That's not the kicker. She remembered me from the tweet I sent, and she asked me about Lebron James(my Twitter Handle) She also asked how long I've been a UConn Fan, and what made me like them. Of course I said, "Lobo, Walters, Sales, and Elliott," and she flashed that big beautiful SMILE I once said Swin Cash may have been the nicest Husky, well, I think Rebecca has her beat. I've never felt so uncomfortably comfortable in my 31 years of living. I totally just made those words up. Lol Sorry for the long post guys, but I met the Woman I grew up watching, and I feel great. I mentioned the BoneYard to Rebecca, couldn't leave out my new found Family.

ps: My Acct Rep is a Vol Fan, and she even saw how happy I was during Lobo's and I chat. She said I looked like a kid on Christmas, and I thanked her for the opportunity of a lifetime. She was really happy for me.

Great post!! Definitely envious of your uncomfortable/comfortable moments with the Lobo the Legend Maybe you will get to meet Maya someday, at an autograph signing or something? And of course since Tiff is with the Dream now, it's even better for you!

I tried getting to Maya last night, but it was hard. Plus she was focused, didn't want to be a burden. As for Tiff, the Season ticket holders are getting a chance on Sept 1st to go thru Training Camp like the players. After that session, we're going to scrimmage them and then have a Team Autograph Signing. It's from Noon to 6pm, pray for me

I got a big smile on face reading this. It sounds like it was a lot of fun. I think Rebecca brought a whole lot of people into the fold as Husky WBB fans.
