Post something live from a rock band with a full orchestra. When I was younger, the two classics that I remember were Renaissance at Carnegie Hall and Procol Harum in Edmonton. Later, the Moody Blues at Red Rocks was really popular. Things have branched out quite a bit in the last few decades. I'll start off with something I just discovered a few years ago. I never expected Metallica to do shows with a full orchestra, and evidently neither did they till six months or so before this one happened.

if that was the NY performance, it was the orchestra I founded in 1974 that backed them up

Gaby is just beautifully powerful. Listen to the end for some incredible long notes. Gaby's other mixed English/Spanish songs are also well worth listening to. Enjoy.

There's a video of Procol Harum doing "Whiter Shade of Pale" from Denmark with a symphony orchestra. It's superb. I'm sure one of you tech savvy Boneyarders can find and paste it. Thanks.

Good, clear audio and picture. One of the comments states that Ann is 65 for this one.

Kinda can't believe @Bigboote didn't lead off with something like this. A symphonic metal band performing with a full orchestra is just meant to be. Bonus points for the song being set to the tune of a well known classical piece.

Not the original Foreigner lineup but the singer gets it done. Juke Box Hero is one of my most played Foreigner songs.
I'm all in for big, honkin' mixed voice choirs, love what they can bring to almost any performance.

Way back in 1971, I saw the Bee Gees live in concert, with 40 piece orchestra, at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium. (pre Disco)
